Item Description The VIAIR 300P portable compressor is perfect for inflating up to 33 in. Dia tires and other inflatable items. Its 2.40 CFM (33% duty cycle) compressor provides up to 150 PSI capable of inflating even high pressure rated truck tires. Includes an inflator/deflator hose with 100 PSI gauge for monitoring tire fill pressure, as well as bleeding off over pressure from tire inflation A deluxe carry bag with zipper closure and snap-close folding cover and stowage compartment for the included inflator/deflator hose is included Heavy duty battery clamps with 40 Amp inline fuse protect the 300P from amp spikes that can shorten service life Maximum amp draw at peak pressure is 27 Amp (12-Volt)

The pump was purchased after much less expensive devices (from other companies) failed. When first received the pump hose connection to the valve stem would not close. I called the company and it promptly sent another hose that works perfectly. The lesson learned for me is less powered devices than the 300P pumping 80lb tires or more, take forever to inflate and will eventually fail. This pump worked great right out of the box. Would give it 5 stars if I had owned it for a long time, as it is I have only used it a few times. I have vehicles with leaky tires that need to be topped off often. When I use the cheaper cigarette lighter plug in inflators they tend to blow fuses in the car and sometimes just burn up. This compressor running straight off the battery appears to have the muscle to get past those issues though I haven't filled any giant truck tires with it. It looks and feels well constructed, hose snaps on easily, etc. Only drawback is the pressure gage doesn't read accurately while you're pumping, you have to switch it off to check pressure and the switch is on the compressor, not at the air chuck where the gage is - just a minor complaint. For just upping your inflation muscle above a cheapo compressor it's pretty darn good.
